Founded in 2012, Munda Jiu Jitsu’s origins started as just a small group of friends. Head Coach, Chris Lee Byrne, picked up BJJ before the rest and shortly after, converted every single one of them. They all began training together, teaching newer students together, and even competing together. As diehard BJJ competitors, they slowly grew into a legitimate team and a notable force on the scene. Eventually transitioning to MMA, the team has grown to new heights of over 70 members.
Our goal is to spread the art of BJJ by teaching skills for personal defense, achievement in competition, or teaching the newer generations. We empower those looking to learn for the right reasons.
